*We source reclaimed teakwood especially for its unique characteristics.

Reclaimed wood has natural characteristics and distress such as textured surfaces, knot or nail holes, borers remnants and diverse planks that can create a slightly uneven surface and natural shifting or cracking of the table. Slight irregularities may occur in size and finish specifications.

As with any natural material, existing fluids and moisture can leech over time, which may cause stains on some surfaces. We do not recommend placing natural timber items directly onto carpets or rugs. If placing timber pieces onto carpets or rugs, the occurrence of a timber stain can be avoided by simply using a protective liner.

We embrace these attributes as a testament to the unique qualities of natural materials; they are an integral and sort after part of our design process. Every piece will have its own unique characteristics as part of the authenticity of a reclaimed wood Uniqwa piece.

None of the above is viewed as a fault; we embrace these changes as the natural characteristics and beauty of timber furniture.

Uniqwa does not offer refunds, replacements or exchanges arising from the look of the timber as described here. These are particular unique aspects that a customer accepts when purchasing Uniqwa furniture.

Every Uniqwa piece has a story…

Our range is largely individually, hand-made pieces. As the majority of our products are made from natural materials, elements such as texture, colour and pattern may vary piece to piece.

Reclaimed timbers, naturally weathered materials and off-cuts otherwise discarded are frequently part of Uniqwa design features. Over time, natural splitting, cracking and loss of natural oils may occur and form part of the characteristics and beauty of Uniqwa products. These are not viewed as imperfections or faults, rather part of the natural life and beauty of timber.

We believe the use of natural materials and hand-crafted elements result in a testament to the unique qualities found in materials originating from nature.

As every monitor displays different colour tones, the colour of pictures on our website and social media cannot be taken as a true colour indication of the actual products. Some product's tones may appear to vary from catalogue or website images.
